Good morning. I need help switching over to LED for my 2016 Hyundai Tucson. I got a package yesterday from Amazon and installed it immediately. I went around the block a few times and it was working awesome. I’ve never seen better in my life with this vehicle.
This morning, the headlights are constantly on/off. I’m getting an error on the dash that the passenger side is out, then a few minutes later, it says both are out, then it goes back to passenger only.
I see that I may need a decoder? How difficult is that? I also ordered for it to be replaced in case that I got a defective set.
Any advice (or even a link to a product that you used for this specific year and model) would be greatly appreciated. If I have to go back to halogen, I will, but I would like to check with you first.

As it turns out, my car may not be recognizing these bulbs. Every time the error comes up and I check, they are actually on and working fine. Just odd but I’ll check tonight when it’s dark and I go out for football beers. Thanks for the suggestion.
@Lenox
That’s what the decoder is for. The lights will still work, but you’ll get a dash error. LEDs have less resistance than halogen bulbs. Because of that the CANBUS system thinks the bulbs are out. The decoder adds the extra resistance needed to trick the system.

Would the decoder make any difference except for preventing error codes? Meaning will I somehow get more brightness out of these bulbs?

Unless the bulbs are flickering, the decoder is just for the dash error.
