I own a 2024 Hybrid Sport; last week I went on vacation and took a 2024 1.5 Sport for the whole week. After that trip, I definitely missed my Hybrid when I got home.
So far I have only done fluid changes; don’t skimp on them, especially the trans.
I have had two warranty claims so far; one was the backup camera being in black and white and a pair of rear hatch shocks.
Get the Hybrid; once it’s broken in, I easily get 37-39 mpg.
I had a 1.5T in my 2020 Accord. It was an okay motor. Test drove both a 1.5 and Hybrid CR-V. Went with the Touring Hybrid. Overall, nicer to drive. Even highway driving daily, I almost average 40 mpg. Just drive normally and you’re good.
Toyota hybrid is the one you want to get. Let’s be real, I like my Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport, but it ain’t as good as the Toyota hybrid when it comes to mpg. They’ve been at it for so long.

@Brielle2
Toyota hybrids can come with e-AWD with motors powering the back wheels. The Honda way is with a mechanical driveshaft to the rear for AWD. It will be real interesting when the Subaru Forester comes with hybrid next year employing Toyota hybrid system with their symmetrical AWD.
Different technologies employed. I do think the Honda drive feel is similar to a gas car. Toyota drives like a simulator or video game to me.

Test drove one in winter conditions; the AWD setup was very awkward on ice, and the CR-V Touring AWD was far more sure-footed and predictable (test drove both the same day in the same conditions). That alone made my decision… and that, and the 9 month+ wait for the RAV4 in 2023, got my CR-V in 3 months.
