2024 Kona Hybrid: Has the Annoying Safety Beeping Been Updated?

I’m considering a 2024 Kona Hybrid, but I’m concerned about the annoying safety beeping that I’ve seen mentioned in several reviews. Specifically, the beeping related to the speed limit warning and the eye-tracking system that ensures you’re looking at the road.

In the reviews I’ve watched, many mention that these settings have to be turned off each time you start the car, which seems frustrating. These reviews are a few months old, so I’m wondering if this issue has been addressed and if the settings can now be saved between drives.

Has anyone experienced an update on this, or is it still the same?

I think the issue might be your lane-keeping assist. If you are watching the clock and not paying attention to the road, your car might start to drift closer to the lane markings.

It is sensing you are tired. Hold the wheel a bit tighter, but not too tight—just firmly.
