Hey everyone, I just got a Tucson Hybrid Ultimate, and I can’t seem to find the button to open the gas tank… Anyone know where it is?

I had the same issue with my N Line. My old Venue had the release near the driver’s seat on the floor, but with the N Line, I was completely lost at first.

It was a great little car, took us on so many road trips. But now that I’m in my 40s, it started feeling too low, and getting in and out after work wasn’t great for my back and knees.

That sounds tough. Hope you’re taking time to rest. The Tucson seats are really comfortable, definitely a good pick for a smoother drive.

You don’t need a button. If the car is in park, the doors should unlock, including the gas tank. If not, hit the ‘unlock doors’ button on the driver’s side.

This is interesting… My plug-in hybrid works differently. You have to press a button on the dash, and it takes a few seconds to release pressure before you can open the tank. You then have 20 minutes before it seals up again.

Yeah, there are plenty of warnings about it—both on the gas cap and on the screen. The pressurization helps the fuel last longer though.
