Am I the only one excited about the new IONIQ 9... giant electric SUV with a boat vibe?

Hyundai’s coming out with this massive electric SUV, the IONIQ 9. They say it’s inspired by luxury yachts, which sounds kinda cool, right? Supposed to have all these high-end features like a huge battery range, fancy interior, and even some off-road capabilities. Anyone else intrigued or planning to check it out?

The whole boat-inspired design sounds neat! I’m curious how it actually feels to drive though. Anyone seen one in person yet?

Not yet, but I’m loving the idea of it! Plus, the interior sounds amazing with that sunroof and all the open space… feels very yacht-like.

Same here. The wood trim and eco-friendly leather seats are a nice touch too. Feels like they’re really going for the luxury angle.

Is it true it has a 400+ mile range? That’s pretty impressive if it can actually deliver that!

Yup, I read that it has a 120 kWh battery pack, which is supposed to go over 400 miles on one charge. Plus, it can charge up to 80% in like 18 minutes if you find a fast charger.

Wow, 18 mins? That’s super fast. But I wonder how many charging stations can actually do that speed.

Does anyone know if it’s good for towing? Like, I need something that can handle a trailer or a small boat.

Actually, it’s got a towing capacity of up to 6,000 lbs, which is pretty solid for an electric SUV. Should handle a trailer or boat just fine!

Nice! I’d be happy if it can handle my camper. Might need to consider this as my next upgrade.

All these smart features sound cool, but how reliable are they? Hyundai’s new to the big SUV game, right?

True, but they’ve got a good track record with the IONIQ series so far. This one’s just their biggest yet, so they might know what they’re doing.

Yeah, and it’s built on the same platform as the IONIQ 5 and 6, so they’ve tested a lot of the tech before.

I’m wondering how realistic the Level 3 autonomous driving is… Is it actually hands-free on highways?

Good question. If it’s like other Level 3 systems, it should be hands-free, but only on certain highway sections. Anyone know more?

Yeah, from what I read, it’s hands-free but only on pre-mapped highways. It can even change lanes by itself, though!

I saw something about the center console being like a ‘floating helm.’ What’s that even mean?

I think it’s supposed to look and feel like a ship’s helm—like a control center that’s adjustable and has storage like yacht compartments. Kinda fancy, right?

Ohhh, that makes sense! Definitely sounds fancy, like they’re really going all-in on that yacht vibe.

Are they really using sustainable materials in the interior? Or is that just marketing?
