They’re also pushing some environmental stuff like zero-emission vehicles. Think they’ll actually make a difference?
Yeah, they mentioned some zero-emission goals. If they follow through, it could be big for clean energy in India.

@Megan
True, I just hope they stick to it and it’s not just a PR thing.
The Hyundai Motor India Foundation sounds like it’s been around a while. What do they actually do?

They work on social initiatives, like supporting local communities and environmental projects. It’s their way of giving back, I think.

Yeah, they’ve been active since 2006. They’re big on education and healthcare support too.
@Nathan
Nice! It’s good to see companies actually doing something for the community.
Anyone know if Hyundai plans to do more IPOs in other markets?

Not sure about more IPOs, but I know they’re focusing on transforming into a Smart Mobility Solution Provider globally.

Yeah, they’re looking at robotics and advanced air mobility. Not sure if that means more IPOs though.
@SantaFeSage
Interesting. They’re really branching out beyond just cars.
Has anyone here ever owned a Hyundai? They seem committed to India, but how’s the quality?

Owned a Hyundai for years. Solid build and reliable. No complaints!

Same here, my family’s been loyal to the brand. Affordable and good quality.
@Megan
Good to know! Maybe they’ll get even better with all this new investment.
Kinda cool to see a big company actually investing in the country they’re in. Makes a difference, I think.

Totally agree. Localizing the EV supply chain and creating jobs is big for India.

Yeah, hope more companies follow suit. Investing in the local economy is smart.
@Jessica
Absolutely! And it’s good for their image too.
Wonder if this means we’ll see cheaper Hyundai EVs in India soon?

Maybe! Localizing usually cuts down on costs, so fingers crossed!
