I bought the beauty 2025 Santa Fe Hybrid Preferred with Trim Package . Man, have they changed their style. We used to have a 2012. The new Santa Fe looks like a Lincoln Navigator and Land Rover had a beautiful baby .
I booked mine in October this year. First, they said we should get it January or February. But then they said Spring 2025. The contract in fact says June 2025! That is so long out.
Anyone know when theirs is coming? I’m hoping we get ours before June 2025 or we may as well buy a 2026 model .
A couple of weeks ago I went to the dealership near my house looking for the same car. Got told it was a more than 1 year wait. I looked at inventory at almost every dealership in my province without luck.
Then on the website of a dealership in the neighbouring province, I found one incoming. I phoned… they said it was sold already, however, they had one arriving at the end of the month that someone just cancelled, and it’s mine if I wanted to put a deposit down. I pick it up on Friday.
This doesn’t really help you… but if you want one faster, hit the web then the phones and see if you can get lucky.
Talk to your dealer. They will know when the VIN is assigned, how long generally after that delivery happens, and further to that they will know when it has entered Canada at the port and also know a general timeline for release and transport from the port.
Call around. I was told 6-12 month waitlist. Went on one waitlist and they had a cancellation on an incoming unit 3 days later. Also found 12 units coming in that were not yet sold.

Omg, that’s amazing. What city? When you went on the waitlist, you put a deposit right? So you had to buy from the same dealer?
@Calvine
The deposit is refundable. I actually didn’t buy that one as a different dealer had my preferred colour coming in. I bought one in Edmonton, a lot of the AB dealers had inbound inventory.

Awesome, thanks for the advice. I will look to see if my deposit is refundable and then will shop around. I’m in Toronto, so not sure with the demand whether I will get one ;(
