I don’t carry a purse, but I sometimes keep my keys in my backpack, and I’ve never had trouble with the car unlocking. I do have the digital key set up on my phone, so maybe that helps? Digital key can be a little unreliable at times, though.
@Douglas
Hmm, I haven’t tried the digital key yet. I keep my key in a fanny pack that’s inside my bag, and honestly, I usually end up unlocking the door with my phone because it’s quicker than digging for the key.
@esleystanley
Try changing the fob battery. Mine didn’t even last a year! I’ve had better luck with the cheap ones from the dollar store. Also, if my phone and fob are too close together in my bag, they don’t work well together.
I’m really hoping the heated seat option missing is just an error. I’d suggest everyone submit feedback about it in the app just to be safe. Let’s make sure they don’t actually plan to remove it.

Go to the MyHyundai app, tap on the bottom-right ‘menu,’ scroll to ‘Help & Support,’ and then choose ‘submit an app issue.’ There’s also an option on their website to report problems. I submitted through both to make sure they take it seriously!

I’m frustrated with the key-in-purse issue. I have a 2024 Calligraphy trim, and I can’t get it to unlock unless I tap my thumb on the handle.
Hmmm, I’ll give this a try. Strange that it’s not available in the Calligraphy trim.

Just noticed the heated seats option missing. Did anyone reach out to Hyundai about it?
I did, but I’m still waiting for a response. I saw that they’re doing maintenance on the app until the 13th, so hopefully everything goes back to normal after that.
@BushnellRides
Here’s the message that shows up when you open the app:
‘Notice
From 11/6 until 11/13 between 9pm PST and 2am PST, there may be downtime affecting remote services and emergency assistance. For emergencies, please contact local services using your mobile phone.’
