Finally got my 2024 Sonata N-Line

About two weeks ago, I asked everyone on this forum for advice on choosing between the Sonata N-Line and the Limited. Most people suggested the N-Line based on my needs and age. Fast forward to this week, I picked up this amazing car on Saturday and I’m still in shock.

The pictures don’t do it justice. These cars, especially the N-Line trim, look so much better in person. I chose the Aero Silver (not Matte) because I wanted a sporty look with the right color, and they complement each other perfectly. Every time I park in a garage or lot, I can’t help but turn around to admire my car. The design is truly unique compared to others. Only luxury cars can really compete with it, in my honest opinion. Definitely not an Accord or a Camry for me.

The engine power is incredible. I always chuckle when I do a hard pull on the highway ramp. I’ve driven the base Sonata a lot, and I would push my foot all the way down for power, but I was often disappointed. With the N-Line, I’m hesitant to push my foot all the way down. It’s so fast and responsive. Many times, while driving on the highway, I would slightly increase the throttle, and it would instantly jump from 65 to 95. You don’t even notice your speed until you check the speedometer. The cabin feels premium, and there’s hardly any road noise. The suspension is a bit stiff, but it’s still comfortable on normal roads. You’ll feel it only on rough roads with potholes. I haven’t tried Sport+ yet, as I’m trying to get to know the car better before pushing it hard because it’s quite powerful.

I thought I would miss the features of the Limited, but the sporty design and performance of this car make me really happy I listened to everyone on this forum. Thank you!

This car is perfect for me. It’s a comfortable, spacious sedan that’s also incredibly fast. If anyone has tips on maintaining and caring for the car, I’d love to learn. It’s my first car, so I’m trying my best to take good care of it! I’m planning to install a dash cam, tint the windows, and do ceramic coating down the line.
2024 Sonata N-Line

Congratulations! That is very nice. I recently got the N-Line Kona and I have to agree that the N-Lines are something special. Have fun with your new car

Love my Kona N-Line

Beautiful car, I was torn between this and the K5 GT. I went with the K5 but the Sonata looks great!

That was also on my list. The K5 GT can also get all the features of the EX trim in the GT1 package. That’s awesome because if Sonata had the same option, I would have happily paid the extra cost. I love the K5’s design too!

Yeah, I got the GT1 with chestnut interior, makes it feel absolutely premium. Sonata still wins with a more modern feel and techy interior. No bad decisions here

I’m currently looking into buying the Limited trim because I need AWD and don’t require a lot of performance for daily use.

But wow, this car looks amazing

The Limited trim is great as well, it’s more expensive after all. It really comes down to personal preference and driving style. I would have loved the Blind Spot View monitor and 360 camera on my car, even if it was an extra cost!

Yeah, that’s one of the reasons why I’d prefer the other trim

The Limited doesn’t have AWD

I don’t know what it’s called, but in Canada, we only have two trims: the N-Line and another one with full options

They probably call it the ultimate

I wish I was in Canada!

Spicy but I still can’t fall out of love with my 11

I like how the steering wheel doesn’t have a Hyundai logo on it

I got a $4k discount and paid $35,500 out the door. Out of that $4k, $400 was a rebate for being a recent graduate, and $500 was for financing with Hyundai (which I was going to do anyway). The other $3.1k I managed to negotiate because 2025 models are coming out, and the dealerships need to clear out the 2024 models. The only new feature for the N-Line trim in 2025 was rear vent AC, which wasn’t worth the extra $3.1k for me.
