Help with Twisted/Seized Seat Belt in 2021 Tucson

Hey guyz, I’m in a bit of a panic and need some advice…

This morning when I pulled my seat belt out in my 2021 Tucson, it somehow got twisted, and since I was in a rush to get to work, I yanked on it. Now it’s stuck and completely jammed…it won’t move in either direction. The worst part is that my partner is expecting any day now, and I need to be ready to rush her to the hospital when the time comes.

I’m looking for a quick fix to get the seat belt working again. I was thinking about trying some WD40 directly on the belt to loosen it and maybe unkink it. Is that a good idea, or could it mess something up? Any advice would be appreciated, I need to fix this ASAP

Get two pliers. Place one on each side, and pull.

Something similar happened to me, and it drove me crazy until it finally fixed itself. You could try using a butter knife or something similar to slide between the twisted parts and push it out.
