This seems like a repost bot response.

I had a 3rd gen GT 5-speed. It was so much fun!

Where’s the one with all the chipped white paint?!?

Underrated comment.

You mean all of them :slightly_smiling_face:

Mine is a 2012 Limited. I think it has the best style. I love it but might need to replace it soon since it has over 160k miles on it. It still runs great though.

I had and loved my 4th gen 2009 Elantra GLS.

I think my first car was the middle Elantra.

The 4th model from the bottom is still being made in Egypt. I have a 2018 model with just 60K kilometers. It’s a beautiful car, and it’s called Elantra HD.

Weird that the 4th gen is still being made.

@Douglas
They added a new body kit, LED headlights, and rear lights to make it match modern cars. Here’s a pic: link

Interesting, Wikipedia says Egypt stopped producing them in 2023.

@Douglas
You’re right. They started producing after the second model from the end. The most modern Elantras are still imported from Korea, but Egypt is trying to modernize by renewing old models.

Wow, incredible. I don’t understand the language, but I just had to check out this 2023 Elantra 4th gen video: link. Only issue is the old 1.6L engine and 4th transmission, but still a nice model.

@Douglas
Yeah, the drivetrain is old, but it’s solid. Compared to newer Chinese cars at the same price, it’s much cheaper with similar durability.

5th gen is the best.
