Hyundai Palisade 2026 Release… Thoughts on the New Look?

The new Hyundai Palisade design has been revealed, but no details about what’s under the hood just yet. The exterior looks pretty much like the renders we’ve seen for months. Curious to know what everyone thinks of this version. For those waiting, are you still holding out or going for the first-generation model instead?

Did they remember to add folding side mirrors for the US model this time? That would be a nice touch.

There was an agreement with Kia that the Telluride would have folding mirrors exclusively. I’ve driven both models and honestly, the Palisade Calligraphy AWD just feels better to me, inside and out. I also own a 2019 GT2 AWD Stinger, so I should have been all in for Kia, but this Palisade is impressive for the price.

They really need to fix that rattle.

What rattle are you talking about? Is it from the doors, the dash, or from the rear?

Are you referring to the rattling or creaking sound coming from the dashboard?

What rattle? I’ve had a 2024 model for over a year now, and I haven’t heard any rattles. I’m pretty OCD about noises in my car, so I’ll even stop to check if something’s in the door or cup holders.

Ugh, gross! I didn’t believe those leaked photos from the summer, but now that it’s out there… I really don’t like the split console. And 9 seats? That’s way too much. Glad I bought the 2025 model.

They refresh these designs so often. I can see getting parts for these in the long run being a real hassle.

It kind of looks like the Sloth from Ice Age.

Can’t unsee it now! I’m stealing this comparison.

How on earth do they fit 9 seats in that thing?

The center front console can be raised to make space for a third seat in the front. So, there’s room for three in the front, three in the second row, and three in the third row.

@C.cole3
That sounds uncomfortable, to be honest.

Yeah, I agree. We had front bench seats in cars up until the 2000s, and it was a pain to be the one sitting in the middle.

@Delaney
It was great when you had a girlfriend sitting next to you. Just laid back and chilled.

@C.cole3
Kind of sounds like something you’d find in a work truck.

There are two seats on the roof.

Unless you’re in Korea, I don’t think you’ll be able to get a 9-seater version.

It just looks stupid to me.
