I got this idea from someone here and wanted to share my experience. I used the same Truxxx 1.5” body lift and upgraded to 20” wheels with a 30 offset. The tires are Toyo Open Country 255/50/20. I initially tried the next larger size, but they rubbed too much, so I had to switch back. I also have running boards that I haven’t installed yet—I’ll post updated pictures once they’re on.
Overall, I’m loving this vehicle so far. I do need to get the alignment checked, though, as the auto steering feels slightly off after installing the lift and larger tires. I also had to remove the aftermarket front mud flaps because of rubbing issues.

Definitely gives it more presence and SUV traits
Did you DIY the lift kit?
I paid a mechanic $250 to install it. I would have done it myself, but I’m recovering from knee surgery. The kit from Truxxx looks very easy to install.
@klausmark2
Yea I was thinking the same about ease of install. Going to wait and see if someone like ReadyLift offers one as well, price is a bit steep for what’s basically tower spacers.

The price is steep for what’s in the kit. You can probably make the spacers yourself. It’s very basic, but it works.
How you liking the Rally Armor mudflaps? I have some but haven’t installed yet because the install was way more complicated than the other mudflaps I got from Amazon.
I’m actually taking mine to the dealer today for a damage estimate, and have been wondering how it would do with a lift kit. We wouldn’t be able to DIY that, any ballpark what we should expect to pay for a setup like you’re showing us here?
@Jessica
The rims were expensive. Tires and rims cost $3,200 with installation and warranty. The lift was around $450 and another $250 to install. That put it at $3,900. It will be $4,100 with the running boards. I still need to install those.
Love how your Santa Fe looks! Two questions, did you install the lift kit yourself and how hard is it if you did? And does installing it affect your warranty? Thanks in advance. Really looks correct!

I did not install myself, but it looks very simple to install. I recently had knee surgery so I was not up to the install. My local dealership said it would not void the warranty. After driving around more with the steering assist on I can state for sure I need to take it to Hyundai for adjustment. It was fine after the lift, the larger tires are causing the issue with steering assist. It stays in its lane, but it keeps going left and right.
Looks amazing! Dumb question. Do you think I should be able to install the same lift kit without changing the wheel and tire config of the gas Calligraphy?

I doubt the lift alone would change the mpg much if any. I personally don’t like having that much space in the wheel well. I can send pictures of the lift with factory tires. I took pictures at every stage.
