Love this dashboard! I can't tell anyone how to spend their money, but for $25,000, I don't think you can get much better. The leather on the steering wheel feels amazing too

I average around 48 mpg, but mine’s the hybrid. Looks like you’re in an SEL, which is mid-level.

Yep, found out it’s an SEL. Still weird it has the same cluster as my '23 Tucson. My favorite part of my '24 Sonata SEL is that it just has four dots instead of the Hyundai logo.

Hyundai has improved a lot, even though there’s still some hate for them in my area. But you see more of them on the road now. Overall, they offer decent value for the price. I love my Hyundai and Genesis.

@Nathan
If you compare them to Honda and other sedans, Hyundai’s not far off.

@Nathan
I think the hate comes from engine issues. I have a 2013 Sonata that needs a quart of oil every 500-1,000 miles. It runs well, but I have to keep an eye on the oil.

Yeah, some of it is because of issues, but there’s also just a general dislike for the brand from some people.

@Nathan
Hyundai dealerships around here take 2 months for diagnostics and even longer if the parts come from Korea. Toyota usually takes a week or less. Hyundai does get more hate than they deserve, though.

I like that it has actual buttons and a knob for the radio. It’s easier to use without looking, unlike the touch ones.

Love my 2020 Elantra, no issues after 57k miles.

I like the old-style gauges in my SEL. The new digital ones are okay, but they bug me for some reason. Probably my last car with a real gauge…

Oh, and a bird just hit the rear window of the car as I was typing this. Brightest blue bird ever.

This was my first car with college internship money. I make a lot more now, but it still gets the job done. Best car for the price, feels a bit luxurious too.

Loving my '23, just passed 20k miles. A bit jealous of the newer dash though.

Good stuff, love my '24 Elantra SE.

Would love a new car, but it starts losing value as soon as you drive off.

Which model is this?

2025 SEL Sport Elantra.

What do you mean if the dash has ok ones?
