I had a 2010 Mazda 3 with about 155,000 miles, but the transmission needed to be replaced or rebuilt. Instead of fixing it, I traded it in with Carvana and chose a 2014 Hyundai Sonata with only 30,000 miles. It had one previous owner, was kept in a garage, and had regular maintenance every 3,000 miles. I’m excited and hopeful this car will last me a long time.
I bet this car has only been driven to the grocery store, church, and doctor’s office.

And if it’s a non-smoker, that would be perfect.

Lol yes! I believe it was an older lady. I contacted one of the shops listed in the Carfax report and they remembered the previous owner as a sweet lady who kept up with her maintenance and took great care of the car. She drove about 3000 miles a year in California.
Nice car! Looks like it’s in great condition!

Thank you! Yes, it’s definitely well taken care of. A great find for sure! The only issues I took care of were the anti-theft recall at the Hyundai dealer and getting an alignment, which Carvana handled. I’m planning to get some all-weather mats and give it a thorough interior detail.
@merrickzede
I need to either replace or clean my all-weather mats; they looked new when I got the car, but they need some love now. The only thing I don’t like about the interior is that there are spots on the steering wheel that are chipping. Mine is grey, while yours is tan, but I have little chips showing the black underneath. Otherwise, everything has held up really well.
30k miles? That’s unbelievable! Congrats!

That’s exactly what I thought! It felt right to grab it and not let this chance slip away for a low mileage car.
I don’t want to be a downer, but this car is really easy to steal. A friend of mine with a 2011 version just had theirs stolen last week. Luckily it was found the next day with only a broken window and ignition. But it doesn’t have great security features. You should definitely consider installing an alarm system with a kill switch to deter thieves.
@Masitsa
Yep, I’m already addressing that. First, I purchased a steering wheel lock for initial deterrence, but I’m also looking into a dashcam connected to a portable charger so it stays on overnight. The next step will be a kill switch. I usually keep the car inside a gated property 5 out of 7 days a week, so I’m not too worried, but I’m still taking precautions.
This bad boy has a lifetime warranty as long as you keep service records and take good care of it. Just watch out because it can be stolen by a 12-year-old with a USB cable. The only downside to this car! That said, its sound system is phenomenal for a stock car. I loved my 2014 Sonata until it was stolen in 30 seconds outside my gym. Remember to stay on top of oil changes and keep your receipts; they can deny you the warranty if you skip maintenance.
@Faithjones
This is exactly why I’m still driving my 2011 Sonata. As long as the repairs are regular wear and tear (brakes, tires, battery), I plan to keep it forever. It’s turbocharged, so it has good power. It’s comfortable, and repairs are relatively cheap. Plus, this one has a warranty on the engine. Mine has a push start, so I don’t think it’s an easy one to steal (please correct me if I’m wrong).
I’ve always been anti-Hyundai, but I needed a quick car and the price was just right, so I bought it, and I love it! I wish mine had only 30k miles like yours. Great find!
Congrats! This car will last you a long time.
Looks in excellent condition. A hidden gem! How much did you pay for it?

The car was priced at $15,000, which is similar to many newer Hyundais with 60k-80k miles.
Hope you got the warranty because every Hyundai I’ve had had the engine fail just over 80k miles.

Many of these cars have a lifetime engine warranty due to a class action lawsuit. Mine does, and I’m at 145k with no issues. It seems like OP has received all the Carfax records confirming that the car was well maintained too.
You should check your VIN to see if yours is included in the class action warranty program.
Be cautious with the paint; a family member had one of these and the paint started chipping off in chunks.
Can I ask how much you paid?
