Never Ending stalling issue

I have a 2015 Elantra that started stalling during deceleration and stopping about a month ago. It cranks back up, but stalls 3-4 times in a 20-minute drive. We initially got a code for the MAP sensor, replaced it, and the code disappeared, but the problem persisted. Next, we replaced the camshaft position sensor after getting a code for it, but the issue continued and the same code reappeared.

So far, we’ve changed the oil with an OEM filter, replaced the spark plugs, cleaned the throttle body, replaced the PCV valve, MAP sensor, and camshaft position sensor. My mechanic is at a loss. Any suggestions on what to try next?

Have you tried running the car through a diagnostic machine to get the exact codes/errors? fixing everything without the exact error code is counterproductive since you may be working with the unknowns

Your mechanic has covered a lot of bases, but the stalling issue is persistent. A few things to consider:

  1. Fuel system: Check for clogged injectors or a faulty fuel pump.
  2. Ignition system: Inspect the ignition coils and wires for any issues.
  3. Computer module: It’s possible the engine control module (ECM) is malfunctioning.
  4. Oxygen sensors: Faulty oxygen sensors can affect engine performance.

Given the complexity of the issue, it might be worth consulting with a Hyundai specialist or dealership.

They have access to specialized diagnostic tools and expertise that could shed light on the problem.
