I am really happy that I made the right decision to buy this car. I drove it 1200 miles and a long distance 4hr+ drive to see how would act. It was absolutely awesome. And average 38 miles/gallon from refuelling to daily and weekends, including the engine running on break times at work…is good. Potholes like they are not there torque that leaves the mud on air when you put your foot down. Buying a car feels like marriage, and I hope it lasts longer
Be sure to keep an eye on the oil level. Depending on the year these tend to burn it. I’m not good enough to tell you based on this picture though.
Edit: just realized you’re in GB so it might not be an issue.
@David
It doesn’t burn as I checked. I made the long trip to check for the oil if it will burn, but it doesn’t.

Great to hear. Mine 2017 Elantra didn’t start until 130,000 km. Congrats on the new vehicle. I didn’t mean to rain on your parade. I love my Elantra otherwise.
@David
Not sure about GB specifically, but diesel is more prevalent in Europe, which Hyundai’s diesel engines are known to be reliable. I have a feeling OP’s engine is diesel.
@David
I also want to mention I feel this should be considered for any of these new cars. Everyone should check their oil at least once a week. Doesn’t hurt and it’ll only benefit you and the car!
I like how you hold it to assert your status to other interested males without cars of their own.

That combined with the appearance of the car’s trailer hitch makes this an interesting post.
@Jacob
Hah. Lol

That is so sexy , is very spankable with the curvature of the rear bumper.
Just know once you hit that warranty end, everything goes wrong with it. My electrical system, radio, interior lights, and now my wheel sensors have gone bad. Truly disappointing as I really loved my car when I got it but now it’s a heap of metal I hold my breath in to get me from point A to B.
I drove a Tucson 4,000 miles in 4 days.
Only issue I had was a little pebble that cracked my windshield.
I love Hyundais.
Sell that son of a gun as soon as you can… He’s having horrible engine problems and the dealer won’t do anything about it.
Find out what kind of motor you got and then go check the theta lawsuits.
