Should I Buy a 2016 Hyundai Accent with 89,000 Miles and Structural Damage for $5,400?

I’m at a dealership looking for a vehicle to get me to and from work. I found a 2016 Hyundai Accent with 89,000 miles priced at $5,400. However, I just saw on the Carfax report that there was “minor to moderate structural damage reported.”

Does this make the purchase a bad idea? Should I be concerned about the structural damage, or is this still a reasonable deal for the price? Any advice would be appreciated!

Structural damage? Absolutely not. These cars were also like…$12k? Brand new. Literal bottom of the barrel shitbox from Hyundai. And I like Hyundai.

Buying a 2016 Hyundai Accent with 89,000 miles and structural damage for $5,400 is risky. Structural damage can affect safety and value. Consider having it inspected by a mechanic and weigh potential repair costs against the purchase price.
