Car moving alot when cold starting
Just put the e brake on you know those radiator fans are high output and can actually make the vehicle fly away. Jkjk

Is your parking brake not on?

Nope, it’s a flat parking lot. Plus the car auto puts parking brakes if it thinks it needs it

Have even you checked your parking brake? Because this is clearly the parking brake not on.
@lenoxreloya
Yeah I told you it’s not on

Then of course it’s going to move…did you think that button was optional or something?

It being a button means it is absolutely optional
@Anand
Right so I guess the start/stop button is optional too

100% along with the button to unlock the door
@lenoxreloya
That too, is optional. Not sure what you’re not understanding. Everything is optional.
And if you’re in a very cold climate, choosing to put your parking brake on is probably a bad option as they can freeze.

Understandable, on my mom’s Elantra, when you throw it in park it rolls a tad bit forward. My guess is that it’s a similar kinda thing here. If it’s bad enough, you should just put your e brake on.
@lizbeth
That I understand because the car rolls till it locks onto the latch in park… but never seen this happen since I always drove manual and parking brakes were always on

Absolutely. I think this is completely normal to be honest. It sounds like from the sound of the startup that it’s a bit chilly. These 2.5s start hard especially when cold
@lizbeth
For Los Angeles I guess it’s cold like in the mid 50s
