Ok now that you said it I can’t unsee it, I think this settles it and helps me make the final decision to keep the lettering. Thanks .
@Zack
I’m always pro de-badging, but not with the black accents

100%. I would be so disappointed to walk up on this and discover there’s no sliding doors
I like the black badging. It’s not really in your face. If it were the silver, I’d say debadge.
(may be biased, I have an Earthy Brass Calligraphy with black badging lol)

No, even with the silver shimmer the black still works
@Megan
I meant the silver emblems regardless of paint color. IMHO the silver emblems stand out way too much and look horrible
The black badging breaks up the large rear. The minivan comment is true and funny. I left my letters on too.
The only thing I feel is the OEM emblem doesn’t go with the modern style of the Santa Fe.
I made the pixel H and it’s been popular for those that want to swap it out

Pixel H?

I put the Pixel H’s on mine as well. Thanks asahmed7
I’m removing mine, I’ve noticed it’s a hassle to wash, my towels and mitts constantly get stuck on the ‘Santa Fe’ letters. Also to me usually spelling out the model or make was seen as for a more fancy or luxury car, but now it seems every car maker/model is going that route too (prius, Lexus, Camry, Honda, etc)
@Auto
I’m going to debadge the letters specifically because drying after a wash is a pain due to the letters catching the towel. I tend to debadge everything except the logo because those usually leave mounting holes visible.
@Auto
First vehicle we’ve ever had that catches the cloth when drying. It’s so weird those have jagged edges

I removed mine today, and surprisingly they’re made of metal. All the previous badges I’ve removed on other cars have been mostly plastic
I removed the Santa Fe and prefer the clean look, and swapped the H for black. In all black I might have kept it
I like the lettering. Also that color is fantastic
NOT! The empty back would look even weirder to me, unless one plans on plastering it all over with identity crisis stickers
I wanted to remove mine as well, but when I saw someone else do it, it just made the back look weird IMO but everyone has their own taste. I think it just matters if you like it on your own vehicle or not
