I’ve got an ’08 Sonata GLS, and I recently had a radiator issue where it burst. I managed to get the car home, but it overheated later that night. I replaced the radiator, but now I’m noticing something weird happening after the repair.
Has anyone else dealt with this? Any ideas on what could be causing the issue? I’d really appreciate any help or suggestions…TIA
Rod knocking most likely. Defensively have to get a new/replacement engine. I literally had same issue
It looks like you might need to replace the engine. Sorry about that.
If it sounds like an old sewing machine, it’s prolly coz the lifters or the top part of the engine aren’t getting oil. Don’t run the engine until you fix this. If it’s not ruined yet, it will be soon if you keep running it.
Broken crankshaft may be. Check oil
How’s the oil? Sounds like you engine is toast.
