My wife and I are heading to the dealership this weekend to buy a Palisade, but we can’t decide between these options. Her trade-in is about $3k upside down, so I’m keeping that in mind too. We’re a family of six—me, my wife, and our kids (9, 5, 3, and 2 years old). Is the XRT really better than the SEL? How’s the fuel economy on these? Any advice would help… planning to buy on Saturday.
This one is a new 2025 SEL… $40k after $4700 off MSRP since it was a loaner. It has about 700 miles.
I’d pick the Limited because I like the extra features. If you don’t care for those, the new SEL might be better with lower interest rates. Also, check if it still includes the 3-year/36,000-mile maintenance. If MPG is a big deal, you might want to wait for the 2026 model… there are rumors of a hybrid coming.

Yep, Limited is solid. I found a 2024 demo model with super low miles and wanted the full Hyundai new owner warranty—longer coverage, free scheduled maintenance, and lifetime Blue Link (didn’t want to pay for it yearly).
Wait, I just checked… the Limited you linked has structural damage. That’s probably why it’s so cheap. I’d pass on it.
Personal preference, but I’m glad we got the 2024 Calligraphy with the silver front grille. The black plastic grille looks worse the more I see it in person.
If you’re planning to keep the car long-term, go for the new SEL. Otherwise, the best deal seems to be the ‘23 Limited if you’re okay with higher mileage.

Yeah, that’s what I’m debating. Thanks for your thoughts .
