progressive told me my rate increase was because of the rising cost of car parts. but somehow, a 2024 corvette is cheaper to insure than my 2022 elantra. doesn’t make sense.

my friend’s hyundai was stolen, and her insurance doubled. she tried switching companies, but no one would take her. she got paperwork for a class action lawsuit in april.

hers was an older model, so i’m not sure. they’re still figuring things out.
