I’m guessing that you are not in the United States? I don’t think Hyundai was imported here, that long ago, but I could be wrong.
Back when trucks were simple.
A simple, compact, cheap pickup would sell today in the US, imo.

Totally agree. I’m not sure what it would look like or cost after meeting crash standards, but then again Nissan Leafs exist, so.
@Smith
Take the existing Santa Cruz, end the roof at the B pillar. Delete the rear doors & backseat and elongate the bed.
It’d be the same platform, same everything from the front seats forward. Different roof, different bed. Could be built off the same assembly line.
You could even keep the Santa Cruz name and just market it as the 2-door long bed vs the current 4-door short bed.
@BushnellRides
I would buy 2 lol
This thing is freaking sweet looking.
I’d be down if Hyundai started producing real pickups like Toyota or Nissan.

Hmm… Hyundai and KIA actually make trucks. They just can’t sell in the NA market due to the US-Korea trade agreement.
@Calvine
I was curious before I posted and lightly searched and didn’t see anything aside from commercial type trucks for hauling cargo and stuff. Like flatbeds.
This thing has a bigger bed than the Santa Cruz.

It probably has a bigger bed than a full size/half ton truck tbh .
Take my money.
If they made trucks like this for the US market, I would buy two today.
