2011 Hyundai Sonata Oil Type?

I’m getting ready to do an oil change on my 2011 Hyundai Sonata, but I’m not sure what type of oil I should use. Can anyone confirm the recommended oil type and viscosity? I want to make sure I’m using the right stuff to keep my engine running smoothly. :innocent:

For a 2011 Hyundai Sonata with a 2.4L 4-cylinder engine, you should use 5W-20 synthetic motor oil. The engine takes about 4.9 quarts of oil, including the filter. AMSOIL offers different options: Signature Series 5W-20 for up to 25,000 miles, Extended-Life 5W-20 for up to 20,000 miles, and OE 5W-20 for standard use. Each provides different levels of protection and mileage.

For your 2011 Hyundai Sonata, it’s generally recommended to use 5W-20 or 5W-30 synthetic oil. Both provide excellent protection and performance in various temperatures. Synthetic oil is ideal for maintaining engine longevity and smooth operation. Always check your owner’s manual for specific recommendations and intervals.
