2014 Hyundai Elantra won’t start even with a jump start

Hey y’all, I need some help. I tried to jump start our 2014 Hyundai Elantra today after it refused to start yesterday morning. Obviously, it didn’t start. The dash lights up fine, and even the radio and AC turn on; it just won’t turn over. It did something similar 2 weeks ago, but after a few tries, it turned over and didn’t give any more issues until yesterday. This prompted us to go get an oil change. Also, the battery is fairly new—I got it in the summer.

Here’s a video trying to start it before attempting to jump it.

Maybe you need a new starter if it’s not turning over.

Yeah, I would say it’s the starter too.

That happened to me in my old Sonata, and it was my fuel pump. The car turns on like normal, everything worked, but when I turned the key, it just kept trying to start over and over.

Or make sure the theft system is off.

I’m not familiar with this, could you explain?

Make sure to push the unlock button on your remote before starting. And just for kicks, see if your car starts when it’s in neutral.
