Quick question, why does the TPMS on the driver’s front show amber while the others remain white?
It’s a Hyundai thing. The tire that is low should ideally blink amber, but it seems to randomly pick one, usually a front tire, regardless of which one is actually low
@Johnstone1
I’ve noticed the same in my Wrangler
It’s likely because your tire pressure is still too low, fill them up correctly
Also, it’s a bit cold outside
32 is still under the recommended pressure for your vehicle. As mentioned, the right tire pressure is printed on a sticker located on the driver’s side door frame. Fill it to that and the warning should disappear
@Nadia
And also ensure there is balance left to right. Some cars beep if the pressure difference is too high
Your tires are likely not fully inflated yet
For your vehicle, the correct inflation is 34 PSI in the front and 31 PSI in the rear. That’s why the light is still on
I have this issue frequently, and it is often due to a nail in the tire. I don’t know how it detects that. I fill it to the recommended pressure and it still shows low until I repair or replace the tire. Then the light goes off
@jordansmith
This happens often to you? Do you find a lot of nails in your tires?
I faced the same issue even after filling the tires. Just make sure they are all even based on what the door panel indicates
I filled my tire to the correct pressure, and my mechanic rotated and filled all the tires, yet I’m still seeing that warning after three weeks
Simple solution: Overshoot by a bit to the high 30s, then adjust down to what’s recommended. You often have to overshoot to signal the sensor that it received enough air. Notice the tire in question is LF at 32, but the RR is at 28, which is really where the problem is. Overshoot and then lower it back, that should work
I left my car running while I filled the tires to clear the warning lights
Keep the vehicle running while you fill the tires and aim for 2 psi above the specified pressure. Most of the time this helps to turn off the light either right away or after a short drive. I’m a technician and this method works best
I have the same problem. My 2024 Santa Fe does this too, and mine are at 34, yet only one triggers the light
I experienced the same issue a couple of months back. Just make sure to fill all your tires and it should resolve. Looks like two on the right are low as well
You can visit Discount Tires, they’ll fill your tires for free using their machine
Have you checked the actual pressure with a gauge? There might be a leak or the TPMS could be malfunctioning
