Make sure your tire is inflated to the recommended pressure listed in your door jamb

This is true. 28 is way below the correct pressure
It might be close to the psi needed to turn off the light, but I’m wondering why the other two tires aren’t lit. When filling, check the door and make sure all four are filled to the same psi while they are cold
@Calvine
The tires need to drop below a certain level to trigger the low pressure light. I don’t know the exact level, but it’s definitely lower than 28. This threshold is much lower than the recommended pressure
@Dylan
My 2017 Sonata warns me at 27. Just a little more and you’ll see some more colors on your dashboard
Check the placard on your door jamb. Typically, it suggests 34 PSI in the front and 31 PSI in the back, unless you have a hybrid which usually is 33 PSI for all tires. 32 PSI upfront is still below what is recommended, so the warning remains
Make sure all tires are filled to the right psi when they are cold
Each tire should be around 33-34 psi
What is the correct pressure? Those levels still seem low
My car recommends about 36 so I filled them to 37. It’s cold out which can affect the pressure
I had low tire pressure on my Santa Fe yesterday. I filled all of them up at home, let the car sit overnight, and the warning light came back on when I started it in the morning. It eventually went away after a while. I believe your tire pressure is still too low, and it might need a restart to update the system
The warning light won’t go away until you fill the tires to 36 PSI, then you can decrease to your desired pressure. It will start illuminating again around 28 PSI
All of your tires are too low. Check the door jamb and fill based on that
All four of your tires are still not at the correct pressure. The proper levels are stated on a sticker on the driver’s door jamb. It’s likely around 34 to 35
Fill to 35 and the light should go off
Quick question, why does the TPMS on the driver’s front show amber while the others remain white?

The TPMS alerts for low tire pressure and will keep lighting up until the pressure is raised back to a normal level. In this case, the driver’s side front tire’s pressure went low enough to trigger the warning (amber), but it hasn’t been filled high enough to reset the warning. The other three tires haven’t hit the low threshold yet
@Nadia
Thank you for explaining that. I’ve always wanted to know
