Hi everyone! I’m looking to get the 2024 Tucson hybrid, but I can’t decide if the Limited is worth the extra $6,000. The main differences are ventilated seats, a garage door opener mirror, real leather seats, and 360 cameras. Does anyone have thoughts or recommendations?
I bought the 2023 SEL Convenience and I think I made the right choice. I don’t miss the ventilated seats. The 360 cameras would be nice, and I might miss them when my kid starts driving. My spouse and I share one car, and it would be great to adjust mirrors and seats with the touch of a button. But the Limited was $5-6k more, and I couldn’t justify that expense based on those features. For $2k, I would have done it. Maybe $3k, but not $5 or $6.
The heated steering wheel is the reason I chose the Limited.
It really comes down to personal preference. For some people, those extras are worth the extra $6k, while for others, they aren’t.
Ventilated seats sound nice.

They only ventilate one way, so they’re not very effective after taco night .
I don’t have a recommendation. You already know the differences. You should ask yourself if you will actually use those features to justify the price.

I have a 2022 Limited, and the extras are hit or miss. The ventilated seats aren’t impressive, but the heated seats are fine. The Bose sound system is lacking, and I rarely look at the blind spot cameras. However, I love the panoramic sunroof, and I’d spend extra just for the 360-degree camera and the larger infotainment screen. I’ve avoided many close calls because of the camera.

If you plan on keeping the car for many years instead of just 1-3, then YES, I think it’s worth it!

I got the Limited, and it’s been totally worth it for me. I live in a hot climate, so everyone loves the ventilated seats. The panoramic sunroof is great for enjoying the sky, and I use the parking sensors and cameras every day to help me park.

I would’ve chosen the Blue trim if it had the panoramic sunroof. I went with the SEL Convenience to get the sunroof. I don’t care about ventilated seats, but the 360-degree parking cameras are a great feature. In the end, I didn’t feel it was worth the big price difference.

I got the 2024 Tucson SEL Convenience hybrid. I found a rearview mirror with garage door openers installed for under $400!
The only thing I might miss in Wisconsin is the heated steering wheel, but we have a garage and can use the app to remote start it, so I think we’ll be fine! I saved over $4,000, so that’s a win!

We have the 2023 Ultimate. The heated steering wheel is nice, and the ventilated seats are awesome in the summer. But the best feature for us is the 360/surround camera.

What do you know about Tucson Hybrid excellence? Is it only sold in Europe?

In Canada, we bought the Ultimate (similar to your Limited) and my son-in-law got a Limited (similar to your SEL Convenience). He now regrets not going for the top trim for the 360 camera, memory settings, ventilated seats, and other extras. I’ve driven both, and after trying the top model, I noticed features and a real difference compared to the lower trim. If you’re financing, the difference is $60-80 a month depending on the term. I’d rather save that by avoiding the extra features the dealership always tries to add.

I chose the Limited because I can afford the extra conveniences.
