We bought our Santa Fe on August 30th, and it now has about 1,600 miles on it. We got one of the first 2025 models shipped to our area. It was exactly what my wife wanted, and she’s really happy with it. We both love the car—especially the plush interior and the cool tech. We both had 2016 cars before, so we’re thrilled to finally have Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There’s a lot to learn about this car, and we love trying to get the best MPG. It’s like a little game between us. I never thought I’d drive this slow, lol.
Glad to be here…feel free to ask me anything. Hope I can help.

I drive in eco mode all the time. Well, maybe I’m exaggerating a smidge. We’ve only had it for two weeks. Some trips it’s around 33 or 34 miles per gallon. I also coast when appropriate… I’m kinda babying it and seeing just how much I can get out of the mileage. We love all the features of the Calligraphy and all the high-tech stuff!!!
It has the beige interior. Kind of freaks me out because I have small kids, but so far it has been really easy to clean.
That’s great! I want beige as well but worry about keeping it clean or at least not stained . They had mentioned a brown interior to me on the lot, but I don’t see that anywhere.

Any difference at all in the 2025 and 2024 models?
My dealership/salesman told me that there were no differences. But I bet someone will come along here and educate both of us. But yeah, based on my casual research, I could not find a difference.
@Arthur
Since the 2024 model came out so late in the year, there aren’t any changes (according to a dealer I spoke with). BUT when you want to sell it on the used market, the model year can make a difference.
These cars are in very high demand, and most dealers are not offering much of a discount on the Calligraphy Hybrids. I did a lot of research in my area; I checked out four Hyundai dealerships in the Florida Panhandle and lower southeastern Alabama area. They were all about the same within about one thousand dollars.
I am thinking about buying this exact car. I’ve seen a couple of posts about people regretting their purchase because of the safety features being annoying and going off all the time. Do you have any input on that? Thanks
I was at the dealer earlier checking out a hybrid, walking in I wanted Atlantis Blue & my wife wanted Rockwood Green. After looking at all the colors (they had them all), if I do it, I’m going Ultimate Red, lol.

It could have been better, and I take responsibility for that. I initially started the car buying process through the Costco Auto Program, and the discount on the 2024 model was ~$2.5K. They didn’t have the exact car we wanted, but I saw it in transit, and it was a 2025. Long story short, the dealership did not have 2025 Costco pricing yet, so I had to negotiate this the “traditional” way. I was under MSRP and got a decent deal on my trade-in. Just a good (not great) deal, and I’m okay with that.
