It looks more like a ring or knife did it.
If you’re leasing, it might not be worth fixing. But if you’re keeping it for 10 years, definitely get it fixed. It’ll just look worse over time.
I would definitely bother.
If it’s a heated steering wheel, be careful, the circuitry might be under the cut.
Since you’ll be touching it often, the cut will probably get worse with time. Even if it doesn’t, potential buyers later might not like it.
What about 3 scratches on your car with only 607 miles at delivery? After taking it to fix, it came back with a bubble in the paint. I’m going back and forth with them now.
