Just read that Hyundai’s Executive Chair met with India’s Prime Minister to talk about expanding their EV plans there. They’re really going for it with EV charging networks and even local production. Seems like Hyundai’s aiming to become a major brand in India. Thoughts?
Oh wow, that’s big news! Didn’t realize Hyundai’s been around in India since the 90s. This could make EVs more accessible there.

Yeah, they’ve been around since ’96. With their new plans, they’re really stepping up. Good for India’s EV scene!
Makes sense that they’d partner up with the government to push EVs. The charging network part is especially cool.

Totally! If they get enough charging stations out there, it’ll be easier for people to switch to EVs.

Yup! It’s all about convenience. Charging stations will make or break the EV market there.
Did they mention anything about a new factory? Seems like it could create a lot of jobs too.

Yeah, they invited the Prime Minister to the opening of a plant in Pune. Big move for Hyundai!
@Dipna
Pune? That’s awesome! Local jobs and local EV production – win-win.
Love that they’re working with India on ‘Make in India’. Always nice to see global brands supporting local initiatives.

Same! Makes it feel like Hyundai’s really committed to India, not just using it as a market.
@KonaKing
Totally! They’re investing long-term, which is great for the economy.
I read that the Hyundai chair said he’s inspired by India’s culture. Guess they’re really making this partnership feel genuine.

Yeah, that part was interesting! It’s cool to see business leaders appreciating culture too.
@barak
For sure. It’s not just about the money; they’re building relationships.
