Anyone else heard about Hyundai’s INITIUM Concept... thoughts?

I just read about Hyundai’s new INITIUM Concept, their hydrogen fuel cell vehicle. Sounds pretty revolutionary with the fuel cell tech and all the futuristic design. They’re talking about a whole hydrogen society too… anyone have thoughts? Is hydrogen really the future or just a phase?

I think it’s super cool that they’re pushing for hydrogen. The refuel time alone is a big plus compared to EVs. But I wonder if we’ll actually see enough hydrogen stations…

Right? I love that it only takes a few mins to fill up. But yeah, the infrastructure is a big question mark.

I read they’re working with governments and energy companies to make hydrogen more accessible. Could be a game changer if they pull it off.

For sure. It’s a big commitment. If anyone can do it, maybe Hyundai can… they seem really committed to this hydrogen thing.

I’m skeptical tbh. Hydrogen cars seem too futuristic… aren’t they expensive to make?

From what I’ve seen, hydrogen tech is pricier, but they’re saying the new fuel cells are lighter and more efficient. Maybe that helps with costs?

Hmm interesting. I just hope they don’t end up being as pricey as some luxury EVs.

Yeah, cost is definitely a barrier. But if mass production picks up, prices could drop eventually.

Anyone else think the design looks so futuristic? Love that sleek look. I feel like all cars are gonna look like that soon.

Totally! Hyundai really nailed the aerodynamic look. Less drag means better range too, so it’s functional.

Exactly! The whole LED light design is a vibe too. Makes the car look like it’s from a sci-fi movie.

It’s definitely got that concept car vibe. Wonder if the final version will look this good though.

This is cool and all, but why hydrogen? Why not just go all in on battery-electric like everyone else?

I think hydrogen is way faster to refuel. Also, it doesn’t lose range in cold weather as badly as batteries do.

Good point on the cold weather. I live up north, and EV range drops a ton in winter. Hydrogen could solve that.

Fair enough. I just hope they can make hydrogen as accessible as gas stations.

I heard it’s got Level 4 autonomous tech too. That’s like, almost fully self-driving right?

Yeah, Level 4 means it can drive itself in most situations without needing you. Pretty wild stuff!

That sounds amazing but a little scary too. Imagine just sitting back and letting the car handle everything.
