Anyone else notice low tire pressure even after adding air

Oyyyy… how many times do I have to say it Fill them to the right pressure and drive It’s crazy how confused this makes people

It’s because it’s too low All should be at 35 at all times

Check the sticker inside your driver side door It’ll show the cold pressures. Inflate to 5 PSI past the recommended PSI to turn off the warning Then lower the PSI to 1-2 above the cold PSI if you’ve been driving to account for heat

Set all 4 to the recommended psi and drive for 5 min and they should calibrate

My tire dealer mentioned that this often happens during weather changes from hot to cold. He said getting nitrogen in your tires can help with this issue. He sees it frequently with Hyundai factory tires

Sometimes the sensors go bad and need to be replaced

Tire pressure should be 36 PSI cold. After you inflate the tires, you might have to drive a bit to reset the warning. I usually run mine while adjusting the pressure to 45 PSI, then lower to 36 PSI on all tires. That resets the warning without needing to drive. Also, not all tire gauges are accurate, so you might need to adjust based on the difference between your gauge and the car’s TPMS

You might just have a faulty sensor
