My car is a 2017 Hyundai Accent (VIN: KMHCT4AE2HU244934).
Initially, there was an Airbag B1490 issue (B1490 Hyundai Code - Passenger Occupant Classification Sensor Defect). I took it to a repair shop, and they advised replacing the passenger side seat. I bought a used (non-deployed) seat from a junkyard and replaced it.
Currently, the car has the B1494 Hyundai Code - Passenger Occupant Classification System Wrong ID issue, and it needs the ACU/SRSCM coding for the same VIN number, either from the GSW (Global Service Way) site or the vehicle manufacturer.
The Hyundai dealership is making the repair very expensive.
How can I fix the B1494 issue in the most cost-effective way?
Thanks,
