I’m changing out my 4-year-old OEM battery. Looking up the options for my 2012 Elantra Limited I’m tossed between the Group 47 DieHard Advanced Gold ($178) and the Walmart H5 Everstart Maxx ($109).
Does anyone have experience with either of these brands or a preference?
I once faced a similar dilemma when replacing my car battery. Opting for the DieHard Advanced Gold was a bit of a splurge, but the peace of mind knowing it could handle extreme conditions and came with a longer warranty was worth it for me. It’s been reliable ever since, but I’ve heard good things about the Everstart Maxx for those on a tighter budget.
Reputable brands include Walmart Everstart Maxx and DieHard Advanced Gold. DieHard Advanced Gold’s extended lifespan and improved performance make up for its increased cost. Reliability and exceptional value for the money are features of the Everstart Maxx. A good option if cost is an issue is the Everstart Maxx. However, the DieHard Advanced Gold can be well worth the additional cost if you’re looking for the most reliable and long-lasting investment.
