My neighbor flipped his twice, yes the same car, and it was in the newspapers too. He got it fixed twice and the car still works.
I think I have a new crush
They should really make a 2 door Santa Fe with a removable rear top. That would be an amazing SUV, especially if it was hybrid. I feel like the new Santa Fe design took a lot from the LR Discovery and the 4 door Galloper.
@HyundaiAnn
I think the Bronco and Bronco Sport influenced the design too

Maybe, but the Bronco isn’t as global as the Santa Fe or Discovery.

You’re right, the Bronco Sport is only sold in the Americas. I just assumed because of its boxy design and how many I see around.

The Bronco is set to be sold in Europe too for a staggering $100,000. That price is going to be tough to sell.
That leatherwork cannot be stock, right?

That’s what I thought. It looks way too fancy.
Looks like a Mitsubishi Pajero, or Montero in the US

It indeed is. Similar to how SEAT used to build licensed Fiats.

I love the style. If they made hybrids or fully electric versions and sold them in the US, I would totally buy one.
Come on Hyundai, make this available already!
This is based on the first gen Mitsubishi Pajero or Montero, but the Galloper looks closer to the second gen Pajero. Hyundai actually bought the entire assembly line from Mitsubishi. It’s a great body-on-frame off-roader. ABS was optional for the 2002 models, and I think they sold in Europe, with a small face-lift, until around 2004-2005. It has a 2WD-4H-4L transfer case with semi-automatic front lockers.
I saw one of these today too!
That cargo space looks huge even though it seems small from the outside.
A friend had one, but it was a Mitsubishi. I loved it! It had a passenger handle, 4 wheel drive, and a level in the center console to show the angle to help prevent rollovers. It was a fantastic car.
