I’ve been checking out all the new tech Hyundai is rolling out, and it feels like they’re doing a lot—electric cars, hydrogen fuel cells, even robo-taxis. Like, are they just throwing everything out there to see what sticks, or do you guys think they’re setting the bar for the future? I mean, bi-directional charging on the Ioniq 5? That sounds wild.
Ioniq 5 is next level. I love how it can charge your home appliances. That’s actually useful.

Right? Imagine being able to power your coffee maker during a blackout from your car, lol.

Haha, for real. I think EVs with that feature will be the norm soon.
The Nexo hydrogen SUV sounds cool, but will it really catch on? Hydrogen cars still feel kinda niche.

Hydrogen tech is still growing, but it makes sense for longer trips compared to battery EVs.

True, it has longer range. But where are you even supposed to find hydrogen stations, lol?
Hyundai teaming up with Aptiv for autonomous driving is smart. Robo-taxis by 2025… you think that’ll really happen?

IDK if we’ll see fully self-driving cars that soon, but it’s definitely getting closer.

Yeah, maybe they’re starting small, like with those Las Vegas pilot tests.
Bluelink is a neat feature too. Controlling your car with Google Assistant feels futuristic.

I use Bluelink all the time to warm up my car in the mornings. It’s a game-changer during winter.

Same. It’s like having a smart home, but for your car.
Anyone else think Hyundai’s focus on AR HUDs is pretty cool? Seeing navigation on the windshield sounds helpful.

Definitely. Keeps your eyes on the road instead of checking your phone for directions.

I feel like it’s still a bit gimmicky, though. Does it really add that much?
I’m curious about their Level 3 autonomy plans. You think people are ready for self-driving cars?

Good question. I think people will take a while to trust it fully, but we’re getting there.

Honestly, once people see how reliable it can be, they’ll hop on board.
What do you guys think of the N series? I saw the Kona N, and it looks like a blast to drive.
