Discoloration on my 2024 Kona limited seat

It’s definitely clothing dye. Chemical Guys products helped me clean my leather interior really well.

I don’t see any wear. There’s just a natural crease that happens with softer, higher-quality leather. Stop trying to scrub it off, whatever removes it will also take off the finish protecting the leather.

The issue often comes from the dyed synthetic fabric. Since it’s synthetic, the dye sits on top of the fibers. Heavily dyed natural fibers used to be a problem, but dye retention has improved.

I have light tan leather seats in my motorhome that have done something similar. A few companies can repair it. I wouldn’t spend much effort on cleaning until you find out what kind of yoga pants she wears daily that are causing the transfer.

Who even wears jeans nowadays? Just clean the seats with baby wipes and switch to joggers. Problem solved.

Uh… when did people stop wearing jeans? I wear them every day. My work allows jeans but doesn’t permit joggers.
