Hey everyone, I’m wondering if my brake disc is still good or if I should replace it. It seems a bit different from the others, more scratches and stuff. Any advice would be appreciated…

From what you describe, it might be time to replace it with the pads. Don’t wait until it gets worse.

Yeah, better safe than sorry. Replacing together is advisable.

Is your car a Toyota? I had issues before when I didn’t get the rotors replaced with pads.

Yes, it’s a Toyota. I wasn’t sure if that matters.

Make sure to check for squealer tabs wear before replacing.

What are squealer tabs? Not sure I follow.

They’re the small metal tabs on brake pads that make noise when worn.
