Exhaust leak sound when accelerating

Hello fellas, Has anyone else noticed what sounds like an exhaust leak when accelerating initially?

I drive a 6-speed manual transmission and hear it more distinctly when I step on the gas. I have not taken it to the dealer yet, wondering if it might be a part of the design?

No error codes, and everything else seems fine—just curious about the noise.

It’s possible that the exhaust leak sound you’re hearing when accelerating could be due to a loose or damaged exhaust component, such as a gasket, flange, or even a cracked manifold. It’s advisable to have it checked by a mechanic or at the dealership.

I suspect my catalytic converter is failing, and there’s also an exhaust leak that sounds similar. I’m planning to replace it next weekend and will let you know if that resolves the problem.

I just had an oil change, so the first thing I did was check the oil. All indications point to an exhaust leak, though. Regards
