How do I connect my driver profile to MyHyundai account

Hi folks, I just activated my Bluelink subscriptions and have everything set up in my app. The car is connected to Bluelink, but my profile in the app isn’t linked to my driver profile in the car. I’ve tried everything in the app and the car settings, but nothing seems to work. Am I missing something or should I contact support?

I noticed the smudges when I took the picture. I guess I should have expected that reaction. I’ll clean it soon.

Just messing around. Keep doing your thing.

Do you want a microfiber cloth?

Haha, sorry about that. I know it looks bad.

Try contacting support. It might help to stay on the phone until the issue is fixed. Make sure you’re in your car while doing this.

It might help if you clean your display screen. Just kidding. Try these steps from Hyundai forums that worked for me:

  • Go to myhyundai.com and log in.
  • Click on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top right, then choose ‘My Account’.
  • Go to the ‘My Vehicles’ tab and find your Palisade. Click on ‘Manage Drivers’.
  • You should be listed as the primary driver. You can invite a secondary driver from here. The primary driver is Driver 1 in the car and the secondary driver is Driver 2. If you don’t see this, try adding yourself as the primary driver.

If this doesn’t work, try the following:

  • Turn on your car.
  • Go to myhyundai.com and log in.
  • Click on the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the top right, then choose ‘Bluelink’.
  • Click on ‘Subscription’ or scroll down to the ‘Subscription’ section and click ‘Manage Subscription’.
  • Click on ‘Yearly’, select all packages, and click ‘Proceed to Payment’. Don’t worry, you won’t be charged since you have three free years. No credit card info needed.
  • On the next screen, check the confirm box and click ‘Place Order’.
  • See if your infotainment system shows a pop-up indicating it received something from the server. It did for me.
  • Even if not, check if this fixes the profile issue. You might need to turn off the car, lock it, and wait a couple of minutes for the system to shut down.
  • Check if the ‘Manage Drivers’ section appears on the website. You may need to add yourself as the primary driver or it could be automatic. See if the profiles work in the car.

Usually, the dealership can fix this quickly for you.
