How much should I try to negotiate on this Kona?

It’s red, it’s used… decent price for what’s available, but yeah, it’s red.

Any history of damage?

Nope, no damage. What’s the deal with red? Good or bad?? :sob:

It’s all about personal taste… but yeah, it’s red :sob:

Personally, I avoid anything that’s not silver or white. More neutral colors seem to be easier to sell, and the demand stays higher.

Good point! I do think it gives off a sporty vibe, but I’m also wondering if I’ll still feel good driving around in that color later :joy:

They say red cars get pulled over more often by the cops. Just saying.

I have that same model with about the same kilometers on it. Glad to see it’s keeping its value. I’ve noticed similar prices listed too.

I paid $41,300 CAD back in September 2021, and mine’s a pre-pandemic build. No issues so far, though the DCT transmission can feel a bit rough starting from a stop. It’s like trying to start a manual car in second gear (I find that shifting to neutral helps when stopped). Once it’s moving, though, it’s a blast to drive. The driver-assist tech is even better than what’s on the 2024 Subaru.

Would buy it again.

Thanks for sharing! Hoping my Kona N-Line turns out just as reliable.

Checked out a 2022 today. Dealer offered $25k OTD. I was tempted but decided against it since I don’t have an auto loan.

I just bought a used 2022 N-Line with 28k miles for $22,000 USD. It’s been amazing in the snow so far, and I’m hoping they might lower the price for you as well. Mine had no damage at all.

Edit: It’s a 1.6L, forgot to mention.

@carhero
That’s great to hear! I’m also in a snowy area, so I’m hoping it performs well with winter tires.

Aren’t there issues with these engines? I remember reading about metal flakes showing up in the engine oil…
