Just read that Hyundai’s putting $28 billion into electric vehicles over the next 10 years. They’re talking next-gen EVs, new battery tech, even massive charging networks. Seems like they’re going all-in on this. Anyone else think this is a big deal?
Whoa, that’s a huge investment! They’re really serious about going electric. Wonder if this will finally make EVs cheaper.

Yeah, they’re probably aiming to bring down costs over time. More EVs on the market should help lower prices, right?

That’d be awesome… EVs are still pricey. Hope this means they’ll make more budget-friendly options.
So they’re building a bunch of charging stations too? Finally! Charging is such a pain if you’re not in a big city.

Yep, sounds like they’re planning fast-chargers in more spots. They’re even working on wireless charging tech… imagine just parking and charging automatically!

Wait, wireless charging? That sounds like sci-fi! Will it even work well?
@jameshenderson
IDK, we’ll see… they’re testing it, so fingers crossed it actually works without taking forever.
They’re getting into solid-state batteries too? Those are supposed to be way better than current ones, right?

Yup, solid-state is meant to be safer and have a longer range. Hyundai’s putting a lot into that tech.

What’s the difference with solid-state? I keep hearing about it but never really understood.
@Callen
Basically, it’s a safer and more powerful battery tech. Less overheating, longer range… it could be a game-changer for EVs.
I think the most exciting part is Hyundai’s goal for carbon neutrality by 2045. They’re not just making EVs, they’re actually trying to go green across the board.

Totally! They’re even looking at hydrogen tech like the Hyundai NEXO, so it’s not just all on electric.

Right? They’re covering all bases… EVs, hydrogen, eco-friendly factories. Pretty impressive!
This kind of investment is gonna create so many jobs too… anyone else thinking of getting into the EV industry?

For sure! With all the R&D, manufacturing, and charging networks they’re building, there’ll be tons of opportunities.

Haha, thinking the same thing. Maybe it’s time to get a job in EV tech.
