I use USAA and pay about $1,100 for six months. I’m in the DC area, where there are a lot of bad drivers. I still have a loan on my 2022 Elantra SEL, so I have full coverage.

That’s interesting. I’m also in the DC area, and I pay half that for a 2019 Elantra SEL with similar coverage. Might be worth shopping around again.
I insure my 2016 Santa Fe Sport with State Farm for less than $400 every six months.
I have a 2023 Ioniq 5 and pay a little under $1,000 for six months with USAA.

Did you shop around? I have a 2022 Ioniq 5 and only pay $500 for six months with Geico for 300K/500K coverage.
I’m paying about $400 through Progressive for six months on a 2016 Sonata. It’s mostly just the required coverage.
AAA is still writing policies, but you need a membership.
If you’re older, AARP might have some good options too.
Good luck!
We switched to Liberty Mutual after Nationwide raised our premium to $500 a month for our 2022 Tucson Hybrid. We’re sticking with Liberty for now, but we’re planning to trade the car in for a Toyota when we move. Hyundai’s insurance issues and lingering problems have left a bad impression.
