Hyundai just reported their biggest October ever with 71,802 units sold. That’s an 18% jump from last year! The models doing the heavy lifting? Elantra N, Santa Fe Hybrid, Tucson HEV, and even the IONIQ 5. Anyone else think their push for hybrids and EVs is paying off big time? Thoughts?
Wow, 18% is huge! I didn’t realize the Elantra N was such a hit. 373% increase? That’s wild.

Right? It’s crazy. I guess performance sedans are still a thing, even with everyone buying SUVs.

Yeah, but what even makes the Elantra N so special? IDK much about it.
@Frankie
It’s basically a sporty sedan with tons of power. People seem to love it for the fun factor.
Hyundai’s strategy with hybrids and EVs is definitely paying off. Tucson HEV’s 140% increase is proof.

True, and the Santa Fe Hybrid isn’t doing too bad either… 136% is impressive.

I wonder if that means gas-only cars are slowly becoming obsolete?
@Auto
Not yet, but you can see the shift happening. People want better fuel efficiency.
The IONIQ 5 having a 51% sales boost is pretty cool. Shows that people are warming up to EVs.

Yeah, and Hyundai teasing the IONIQ 9 must mean they’re doubling down on EVs.
@AccentAdmirer4
For sure. A three-row EV SUV sounds promising for families who wanna go electric.
Anyone else think Hyundai partnering with Waymo is kinda genius? Autonomous tech could change the game.

Yeah, self-driving tech is the future. Hyundai’s getting ahead of the curve.
@CleinCaster
Wait, what’s Waymo? Never heard of them.

Oh, it’s Google’s self-driving car project. They’ve been testing autonomous cars for years.
I’m curious if the INITIUM hydrogen concept will actually go anywhere. Feels like hydrogen cars have been ‘coming soon’ forever.

Lol, right? But Hyundai seems committed. They’re pushing both EV and hydrogen tech hard.

IDK, hydrogen does have potential. It just needs better infrastructure.
@Martinez
Yeah, that’s the problem. Until there are more hydrogen stations, it’s a tough sell.
