Yeah, Hyundai is shady with warranties too, from my personal experience.

After 9 days in their shop waiting for them to just look and diagnose took 8 days! Needs a new engine. Not even paid off yet. I am pissed.

If you haven’t followed the maintenance schedule to a T, they will deny your claim, even if it has nothing to do with the problem.

It was followed to the T and every period. My car was ~4 years old. Hyundai was shady.

I got a 2017 Hyundai Elantra with 141,000 km. So far it’s not burning oil. If you maintain these vehicles new, they shouldn’t burn oil.

I’d look into it if you are in the US. Hyundai worked with me up to a point, then they said it was fixed. Happened again 2 months later, but they said it was ‘fixed’, nothing to do it doesn’t meet recall levels. No matter, the oil in my Palisade was GONE way before the recommended oil change date or miles.
