I’ve checked everything I can think of, but I’m not finding any issues. It rained a lot last night, and when I started my car this morning, all these lights came on. My nearest dealer is two hours away, so I’m trying to figure out if I can fix this myself. 2023 Kona SEL.
Is the engine actually on or is it just in accessory mode?

Lol, was thinking the same thing, dude has no RPMs.

Sorry, I was in a hurry and forgot to mention the engine won’t start at all.

That’s kinda important info lol. Does it make any noise when you try to start it?

Yeah, I know, I was rushing. No noise, though. I’ve checked the belts, fluids, and battery. Fuses are next, but it’ll have to wait until after work.

Do you hear any clicking? You might have a dead battery that’s only powering the accessories but not enough to start the engine.

No click. But I checked the battery, and it’s fine.

People might joke, but everyone starts somewhere. Jump the battery and take it to O’Reilly or AutoZone. They usually test batteries for free. If it’s bad, replacing it yourself is pretty simple.
If the battery is fine, it might be the alternator. They can check that too, but removing it is a bit more complicated.

I’m well past the ‘just starting’ phase, just tired and forgetting things. Battery tested fine, but I haven’t had time to check the alternator yet. I’ll do that after work.
Thanks for the helpful advice, I appreciate it.
Yeah, with 0 RPM, it doesn’t look like the engine is on. Those lights should turn off once it starts.
This is typical of a low battery. Did you leave the lights on overnight?

No, lights were off. I tested the battery, and it’s good.

How exactly did you test it?
Forgot to mention earlier, the engine won’t start. It goes into accessory mode but doesn’t do anything else.
Sounds like a low battery. Try jumping it.

Already tried jumping and tested the battery, no luck.

Pretty sure the two lights at the top are your headlights.

Yup, they’re on auto and the sun’s not fully up yet.

Grab an OBD2 reader; it’ll tell you what’s wrong. But it still sounds like a dead battery to me.
