I bought my Tucson 3 weeks ago, and I love it so far! I got it for $42k OTD (roof rack included). It features the Titan Grey exterior with a light grey 3-tone interior, and it’s absolutely beautiful and very comfortable.
Previously, I drove a 2016 Honda Fit EX and a boxy 2006 Scion xB—this Tucson is a major upgrade for me. While I’m not crazy about all the exterior styling, it’s starting to grow on me. I think the N Line looks the best, but it didn’t have all the features I wanted. For my Limited, I wish the silver stripe above the windows was black, and the wheel design is a bit much for my taste, but you can’t have it all!
Before deciding, I also test drove the 2024 Limited and a CRV, but the CRV felt super boring.
Honestly, I never thought I’d be a Hyundai owner, but here I am—a converted man.

That’s so nice, especially since the key fob is too big for my liking. Do you ever have trouble finding the NFC scan point on the car handle? The digital key only unlocks the door half the time for me. Just wondering if there is a trick to it.
@James
I’m using iPhone/Apple Watch with Ultra Wide Band, so I simply walk up to the car, and it unlocks without taking my phone out. I can also just ask Siri to unlock it if my hands are full.

Very interesting! I have an iPhone Pro 15. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong; I’ll look into this more.
Yes, and it works sometimes, but not always when it’s in my pocket.
That’s odd. I’ve never had any issues; it just unlocks as I approach. Do you need to place your phone on the charging pad to start it, or can you put it anywhere? If so, it should be using UWB (not NFC), and you shouldn’t have to take it out.
@WilliamMia
I can start the car with my phone in my pocket by pressing the fingerprint sensor. It doesn’t need to be on the pad. I can unlock/lock using the Apple Wallet digital key only sometimes. It instructs me to ‘hold near reader’ and usually finds it only half the time. I can ask Siri to unlock/lock my door, and that seems to work, which is nice! I had to set it up using the ‘digital key by passcode’ method provided by Hyundai, which was complicated and not the normal setup process.
@James
Perfect! Thanks for doing the legwork! Be sure to look up the YT video where the guy installs it. He said it takes significant effort to do it well.

Yeah, I just watched—it’s a 4-hour install! Yikes. Haha. I just ordered it. Thanks again!
