New to me '22 Sonata SEL - What are some must-have accessories?

Hey guyz…

I just bought a 2022 Sonata SEL and I’m super happy with it! Got to do a little old-school negotiating, and I’m really pleased with the deal and compromises I made.

Now, I’m looking to add some accessories to enhance the experience. What are some must-have accessories that you recommend for this car?

Probably a musket to neigh off any scallawags on the open seas.

I got a 2022 Sonata SEL Plus about a month ago, also in black. Tinted windows aren’t a “must-have,” but they really make the car look nice. I bought a center console tray from Amazon and a case for my key fob since it scratches easily. I also got some small USB RGB lights that plug into the USB ports to add a bit of ambient lighting. That’s all I’ve added so far. Good luck with your new car…

I second the key fob case. I waited a little too long and both fobs look all scraped up from the other keys. Case covers it up nicely though.

Which part of the country are you in, and what’s the typical price for tinting windows? My old Fusion had ambient lighting too, so I’m considering that as well. Now I just need to figure out how to keep my phone in place on that wireless charger.

I’m from Northeast Ohio. A couple of months ago, it cost me around $200 to fully tint my 2010 Camry, but the Sonata came tinted when I bought it. I’m not a big fan of the wireless charging pad either. I got my car certified pre-owned, so the previous owner might have messed it up. It’s really tricky to keep my phone charging; it keeps losing connection. I still haven’t figured that part out yet. And yes, the key fob case is a must since the material scratches easily. I just noticed last night that there’s a slot between the two cup holders for holding your phone—so funny…
